Mark Hamill Chimes In On John Boyega, Who Freaked Out Fans By Tweeting A ‘Star Wars’ Non-Spoiler

When it comes to the beautiful monster that is the Star Wars universe, spoilers or anything that could even be remotely construed as a spoiler are a big no-no. John Boyega has seemingly learned this the hard way following a brief Twitter freakout over an innocuous tweet that didn’t have anything to do with the galaxy far, far away.

Boyega, who portrays Finn in the newest Star Wars trilogy, tweeted out an intriguing prospect involving himself stepping into the shoes of an unnamed villain in what could be a reference to an upcoming mysterious yet unnamed film:

Some believed the above post was a startling revelation made about his character for The Last Jedi. Certain fans believed this was the official introduction of “Finn Ren,” while others implored that the tweet was in no way related to Finn:

Boyega then assured fans that the tweet certainly was not Star Wars related because, let’s face it, every single person who knows anything about the upcoming films will keep their lips sealed for fear of facing the wrath of Disney. Even Game Of Thrones star and spoiler-keeping veteran Emilia Clarke, who is set to star in the untitled Han Solo anthology film, revealed she’s more nervous talking about Star Wars than her ridiculously popular HBO series.

Mark Hamill’s response to the brief hysteria is truly the cherry on top of this bizarre situation, with Luke Skywalker’s alter ego teasing fans with a potential Finn/Luke relationship:

… And thus, we’re all left to utilize our best dog GIFs to properly express our feelings on the matter. Yep, you can always count on Mark Hamill to deliver a witty quip for whatever occasion arises.

Although Boyega has been in the thick of all things Star Wars for a few years now, he may still be adjusting to the fanatical side that seems to plague many fandoms, this one in particular. Fans have been waiting impatiently to see Boyega reprise his role in The Last Jedi, set for release on December 15. Until then, he has been attached to a number of projects since The Force Awakens, including this year’s The Circle starring Emma Watson and Tom Hanks, the Netflix original Imperial Dreams, and the upcoming sequel Pacific Rim: Uprising.

You can catch Boyega next in Kathryn Bigelow’s Detroit, co-starring Will Poulter, Samira Wiley, Jacob Latimore and Anthony Mackie, set for release on August 4. Check out the trailer below!

12 Instances When Ryan Reynolds Gave Fantastic Updates On Raising His Children Using Twitter

Ryan Reynolds is one of the biggest stars working in Hollywood today. Whether he takes a more serious approach in psychological horror roles like The Amityville Horror and Buried, or he is off being a straight up fantastical genius as Wade Wilson in Deadpool, audiences love them this Canadian talent… And of course who wouldn’t because Canadians do it better, amiright or amiright? 😉

Reynolds met his lovely wife of five years, Blake Lively, on set of the 2011 comic book flick Green Lantern, and although the film was not incredibly well-received, something great came out of it — the adorable relationship between Reynolds and Lively. Their chemistry was easily the best aspect of this doomed film and the sequence where Carol (Lively) figures out Hal’s (Reynolds) identity will forever make me laugh, no matter what:

Informative Tweets For Every Occasion!

The beautifully talented couple have two daughters together — James, 2 and Ines, 4 months — and Reynolds occasionally takes to Twitter to update his almost five million followers on any comings and goings involving his family. As per Ryan Reynolds, they are mostly sarcastic and wildly hysterical.

1. Taking A Trip To Disneyland

Reynolds’s ability to create an invigorating narrative in just 140 characters is unparalleled. With this tweet, at least he mentions how excited his daughter was when he told her about his Disneyland expedition.

2. When Asked Why The Sun Goes Down

Here, we see Reynolds eloquently explain to his daughter why the sun goes away every night. If he ever puts out a book on parenting, I will most definitely rent that shit out of the library.

3. Him Encouraging Dreams

Back when his first daughter was six months old, Reynolds decided to encourage her dreams of becoming the next Picasso even though he was not exactly a fan of her work. I mean, it is quite inspirational, really.

4. “I Can’t Do This”

Reynolds admits that sometimes, parenting is difficult — a sentiment many can attest to. There have been many times when I am about to cook and see all the ingredients in front of me and I whisper the exact same thing. I feel you, Ryan.

5. Hey Man, The Hair Is The Moneymaker

His love for his daughter transcends relatively extreme weather patterns. If that’s not love, I have no idea what is.

6. Frankly, We Need More Baby Cages

They get all the fresh air and sunlight they need! Why would a permit be needed for such a fantastic parenting tool? I am with Reynolds on this one.

7. Baby Learns Of Acceptance

If there were more people on Earth that would swipe right, legions of lonely people would have a satisfyingly quick sense of acceptance from their peers. You go, baby Reynolds!

8. Teaching Babies About The Circle Of Life

Always remember, readers: If a loved one decides to sneeze into your yawning mouth, remind them that one day they will have to bury you. That will teach them.

9. More Life Lessons Taught By Nursery Rhymes

Not only is Reynolds is a fantastically hilarious tweeter, he writes informative nursery rhymes as well! Is there anything this disgustingly talented man cannot do? That parenting book is looking better and better as time goes by.

10. Nobody Claimed He Was A Fashionista

To be fair, there are tons of Halloween outfits that rock this exact attire, and it is super encouraging to see Reynolds take a vested interest in the fashion choices of his children.

11. Answering The Question Fans Want Answered The Most

It really is so difficult finding trusting people to execute a lower back tattoo for an infant. My parents have firsthand experience with such a matter and I am certainly a better person for it.

12. Look Forward To That ‘Parenting By Ryan Reynolds’ Book Soon!

This tweet was written in June 2015 so only four years or so left to go! I wouldn’t place too much money on it being done that soon since Reynolds is busy with his various Deadpool endeavors, but I’m sure it will release eventually.

You rock, Ryan! Don’t ever change ❤
